| GO Rowing and Paddling Association is a registered charity with Revenue Canada. Fundraising initiatives are focused on adding benefit to the communities to which GO is contributing and investing its resources. All qualifying donations to GO are eligible for tax deductible receipts. |
General Donations:
GO accepts donations of both cash in-kind to support GO’s activities and services. General donations can improve community based programs, special events and programs, and equipment.
Endowment Fund - Building a Brighter Future:
GO established an endowment fund in 2008 to help perpetuate its key activities and services. The principle will remain in perpetuity and proceeds from the endowment will be directed to coaching, athlete development, and improving equipment, facilities, programs and events.
Assets:
GO has to continually upgrade its assets, in order to run safe and valuable programs and events. This includes Rowing Shells, Dragon Boats, Outrigger Canoes, Flat Water and Ocean Kayaks, Docks, Safety boats, Vehicles, Trailers, and other equipment. GO has opportunities for businesses or individuals to donate or contribute toward the purchase of these items. Check out our Donate your Boat and Paddle It Forward Programs.
Other:
In some cases, other methods of support are more suitable for donors, which can be addressed by contacting GO.
