This new five race series, has only one race left this season (October 7) and is attracting all types in single and double ocean kayaks, surf-skis, K1 (Flatwater Kayak) and canoes - Racers choose from one, two or three laps of a 1.4km loop. After racing, participants celebrate and socialize on the docks of GRPC, enjoying a delicious BBQ and draw prizes.

MEC and GRPC have started the Wave Grabber series to promote recreational paddling in the community, and invite any and all types of paddlers to attend. Races are $10.00 to participate, including boat rental, race fees and BBQ. Private boats are also welcome. We welcome anyone who is interested to come down and participate or cheer the paddlers on!
