PRESS RELEASE: Corporate Rowers step up for Youth at Risk and raise $9,000!
June 15, 2010
VICTORIA, June 15, 2010… On Saturday, May 29, companies throughout the Lower Vancouver Island participated in the Championship Regatta of the 17th Annual Community Corporate Rowing Challenge (CCRC) at the Gorge Rowing and Paddling Centre.  Despite the poor weather it was a great day for corporate crews to race each other and support an important cause.

In addition to great racing, the corporate rowing teams raised $9,000 to benefit Dynamic Opportunities for Youth; a free rowing program to help youth at risk in Victoria (and across Canada). The funds raised will put 56 youth through Dynamic Opportunities for Youth in Victoria! Thank you to the rowers, sponsors and supporters for this tremendous and needed support!
