Hello Paddlers!
The Penticton Paddling Centre is pleased and excited to invite you to the 1st Annual Okanagan Super Sprints (250 Metres) on Saturday, July 5, 2008! The event will be hosted at the same new venue as the Penticton Dragon Boat Festival (Skaha Lake) and use the popular Millennium Dragon Boats. In addition, the race format is modeled after the successful Gorge Super Sprints hosted in Victoria by the Gorge Rowing and Paddling Centre.
At a distance of only 250 exhilarating meters, the racing will be both fun and intense. And at only $250 plus GST to enter, there is plenty of bang for your buck. What a great way to start off the racing season! We hope to see you at this new event!
