| Go Rowing and Paddling Association of Canada (GO) is pleased to announce that it is now the authorized Canadian dealer for Filippi Rowing Shells and Wakeless Launches. |
Filippi Boats are an Italian manufacturer of rowing racing shells. The company was founded in 1980 by Filippi Lido. Teams competing in Filippi boats over the last 20 years have won more than 400 medals at World Championships and Olympic Games.
Italia S Model Boats
Italia S Model Boats are Filipi’s high performance construction, built with the highest quality materials available for competition. Materials used include carbon fibre, Kevlar and honeycomb, which guarantee higher resistance in comparison with the standard laminations.
Italia 2 Model Boats
Italia 2 Model Boats are built to last. The composite is based on a core of foam that is very easy to repair and will stand the test of time. The materials used are the same high performing materials as in the Italia S only with additional laminations for greater strength. The hull dimensions of Italia 2 are identical to the Italia S only with a slightly higher total boat weight. The added laminations make the Italia 2 ideal for club use.
